Love After Death

Père-Lachaise Cemetery, Paris - 2010

I take a lot of photographs many of which are never seen. I save them for just the right story like the one I’m going to share with you now.

To read it you’re going to have to take a little walk over to the The Write About Love Project” an idea that began in the cemetery where the photo above was taken.

It’s there now waiting for you so click on the link and go on over and see what you think about how one couple found love in an unlikely situation.

  1. I was abit apprehensive about reading this story as I thought it maybe sad. So glad I did. What a beautiful tale, with such a happy ending. Pleased you enjoyed the company of your guests despite your worries about the house!!

  2. what a beautiful story! It’s amazing the things that can happen in this life. It might have sounded a bit unlikely if it had been fictional, but the fact that it is true makes it really lovely! Thanks for sharing and to them for allowing their story to be shared.

Happy May Day John and Elizabeth!

  3. What a wonderful story. One of the things I love most about life is…when you wake up in the morning, you never know how your life will change. Most days not much happens,, but wow…some days life just sings! Thanks for reminding us all.

  4. Lovely story and photograph. Like you, I am drawn to cemeteries and love to take photos of beautiful markers.
